Light Oat Bread

I make, on average, two loaves of bread every weekend to get us through the week.  This is by far our favorite and is one that I have made several times.  It’s a perfect bread that is multi-functional.  I can make sandwiches, toast, garlic bread, french toast, and pretty much anything else.  It’s my go-to bread.


1 1/4 cup WATER


1 tsp SALT

3 cups all-purpose FLOUR

1/2 cup rolled OATS


1 1/2 tsp active dry YEAST

All I can say is that even the Heaven’s know how great this is…I mean, look at that amazing glow around it:

Okay, maybe it doesn’t glow, but it is delicious!

  Yes, it’s as good as it looks…
